National College of Arts Lahore and Pindi Campus Extends Admission Date

The application deadline for the degree programs offered by the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore and Rawalpindi has been extended to September 16, 2024.
The categories under which admissions are made include reserved seats, open merit, self-finance, and self-support schemes.
NCA Lahore offers courses in fine arts, architecture, music, film & television, multimedia arts, and cultural studies. These courses include a wide range of design disciplines, including visual communication design, textile design, fashion design, product design, and ceramic design.
NCA Rawalpindi provides courses on architecture, fine arts, and design, which includes textile and visual communication design. The official websites of NCA and NTS provide comprehensive admissions information.
Lifesavers Initiative For Students of Punjab
At the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), however, the Punjab government unveiled the "Lifesavers Initiative" on Tuesday.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and bleeding control basics are what this curriculum aims to educate university and college students.
Launched in tandem with World First Aid Week, the program aims to inspire youngsters across Punjab to acquire life-saving skills.

In order to build a nation of lifesavers, the program's goal of providing every home with a trained first aider was emphasized by Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Secretary of the Emergency Services Department.
Uzma Qureshi, the vice chancellor of LCWU, stressed the importance of the course and asked teachers and students to treat the instruction with seriousness.
She said that thousands of students had previously finished the demanding three-day course that trained Rescue 1122 to be lifesavers.
Qureshi expressed gratitude to the Community Safety Wing for their commitment to the training programs.
As part of the Lifesavers Initiative, Rescue 1122 will teach students from Punjab universities and colleges life-saving techniques.
Speaking at the event were Punjab Ministers for School Education Rana Sikandar Hayat and Health and Emergency Services Khwaja Salman Rafique.
They declared plans to expand the program to all provincial educational institutions, underscoring the government's commitment to fostering a culture of safety.
Earlier in the day, LCWU students who had completed the lifesaver course gave live demonstrations of their freshly acquired bleeding control and CPR skills.
These pupils pledged to get their friends to back the effort aimed at saving lives.
