The Sindh government has recently announced a major stipend program for schoolgirls across the province.

The Education Department states that the stipend will only be given to females who are enrolled in schools with a valid SEMIS code. The program is available to children in Classes 6, 9, and 10 during the 2024–2025 school year.

Students must have at least 60% attendance in August, September, October, November, and December in order to be eligible, according to the official announcement.

This program is an effort by the government to promote regular attendance and support girls' education. Parents and children applauded the action, describing it as a positive step towards enhancing girls' access to education in Sindh.

Punjab Boards Extend 9th Class Registration Deadline

The deadline for 9th class registration has been extended by all Punjab school boards, including Lahore.

There is now until June 20th for students who were unable to register earlier to finish their registration without incurring a late fee.

Although there will be a late fee, students can still register between June 21 and July 4.

Students who missed the previous deadline will benefit from this decision. Every school board in the province is covered, guaranteeing that no student is left behind because of delays.

Students are encouraged to finish the registration process as soon as possible in order to prevent problems later.
