Punjab Press: Strict Document Rules for Teacher Transfers
Stricter new requirements have been implemented by the Punjab School Education Department to improve the transparency of the teacher transfer procedure, especially for applicants who are applying on the basis of hardship.
The government states that applicants will only be eligible for transfers if they provide original and verified documentation. A Family Registration Certificate (FRC) provided by NADRA and, if relevant, a formal divorce certificate are now required for teachers seeking hardship.
Applicants must provide a genuine medical certificate from Services Hospital in order to request a transfer on medical grounds. Teachers who are widowed must have an original death certificate in order to be eligible for transfer.
The department emphasized that applications will only be accepted if they are accompanied by authentic documentation. Additionally, officials issued a warning that instructors who turn in falsified or fraudulent paperwork will be disciplined severely.
The more stringent regulations are intended to guarantee merit-based transfers and get rid of anomalies in the system, according to the School Education Department.
