The sixth meeting of the CDA board for the year was held on Monday under the presidency of chairman Noorul Amin Mengal. The adoption of a significant policy intended to enhance the educational environment in the federal capital was one of the meeting's main issues. According to the policy, the CDA would lease lands to private schools for a period of 33 years. The CDA will utilize a 100-point system to determine the renting procedure, Schools that operate out of houses will receive 20% of the marks, while schools that charge between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 15,000 in fees would receive 25% of the marks. Private schools won't be allowed to raise tuition by more than 5% annually, and the funding scheme for the program will be finalized later.

This approach will aid private schools in giving students a quality education while also making a significant contribution to the capital's educational infrastructure. Other measures approved at the conference included installing tiny wells for refilling groundwater and rainwater harvesting tanks in each home in Islamabad. Additionally, the CDA has given its Sanitation Directorate and Environment Wing permission to issue fines and other sanctions for environmental law infractions in the nation's capital.
