The program was created for students who, because of financial limitations, are unable to finish their studies.

The Pakistani government will supply all of the program's funding.

Scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in schools that have received HEC approval.

Programs leading to undergraduate degrees will be eligible for the award.

The scholarship will cover all of the cost of education, including books and monthly tuition.

Low-income families will be able to apply for the grant.

Interested candidates were asked to apply by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

Executive Director HEC Zia Al-Qayyum resigns

Zia Al-Qayyum, the executive director of the Higher Education Commission, resigned on Friday.

Details show that the High Court suspended the Sessions Court's September 12 ruling and reinstated Zia Al-Qayyum.

Significant disagreements arose between Executive Director Zia Al-Qayyum and HEC Chairman Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed on the acquisition of laptops valued at billions of rupees.

HEC Chairman Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed removed Executive Director Zia Al-Qayyum and requested a meeting of the HEC board.

Nevertheless, Executive Director Zia Al-Qayyum filed a lawsuit to prevent his dismissal and was granted a stay order.

In the meantime, the Federal Secretary of Education was given the additional responsibility of heading the HEC, while Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed's term ended, and he was not granted a second chance on the laptop problem.

The resignation of Executive Director HEC Zia Abdul Qayyum has been authorized by Chairman HEC.

Additionally, HEC has issued the letter and accepted the resignation of executive director officially.
