The Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab, invites expressions of interest from qualified and experienced individuals to work as Individual Consultants on a contract basis for the World Bank-funded National Health Support Program (NHSP). Job 1: Environment & Social Safeguard Specialist (PPS-9)

Number of Positions: 01

Job Description:

• Deal with environmental and social risk management.
• Contribute to health sector policy and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle environmental/social safeguards as per World Bank and local policies.
• Work in the implementation and compliance of environmental and social frameworks.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Environmental Studies, Science/Engineering, or Natural Resource Management (HEC-recognized).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant, documented experience.
• Must have worked in the health sector with exposure to:
• Environmental and social risk management.
• International development organizations.
• National environmental laws and policies.
• Job 2: Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Specialist (PPS-9)

Job Description:

• Monitor and evaluate projects related to health development.
• Lead development and implementation of monitoring tools and learning frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Support evaluation processes.
• Work with multiple stakeholders including civil society and local government.
• Implement and improve M&E tools and strategies.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (16 years of education) in:

• Demographics
• Public Policy
• International Development
• Economics
• Minimum 8 years of relevant documented experience.
• Certifications in M&E, statistics, PMP, or related fields will be preferred.
