This career opportunity is for a Project Coordinator / Document Controller based in Islamabad, specifically for the construction of SECP’s head office building. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing project coordination and documentation control, ensuring efficiency in the project’s execution.
Job Description
The Project Coordinator / Document Controller will be responsible for overseeing project documentation, ensuring compliance with project management standards, and maintaining organized records of project-related documents. The individual will work closely with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution, track progress, and manage administrative tasks related to the construction of the head office.
Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation, including reports, contracts, and permits.
- Ensure project activities align with timelines and organizational policies.
- Utilize project planning software for scheduling and progress tracking.
- Maintain records in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Engineering or Project Management from a HEC-recognized university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning software.
Employment Type
- Contract-based (24 months), with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing high-rise/multi-story building construction projects.
