Balochistan Board Exams Postponed Due to Unavoidable Circumstances

Balochistan Board of Intermediate Education has postponed the inter exams citing unavoidable circumstances. The new dates of the exams will be announced soon.
Due to unanticipated circumstances, the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) announced just one day before the exams were set to begin that they would be postponed by three weeks.
Officially announced on Monday, the intermediate (FA/FSc) exams, originally slated to begin on Monday, April 22, will now begin on a new date to be announced soon.
Though they did not elaborate, board officials said the decision was made due to unanticipated administrative reasons.
Out-of-school children in Punjab
On the other hand, according to a survey by Pakistan Social Standards Measurement, up to 7,648,272 youngsters in Punjab are not attending school, as reported in the news on Monday.
The data were made public following the publication of a report prepared by the Pakistan Social Standards Measurement Survey.
According to the study, there are 37 primary school students in Punjab who can be taught by a single teacher, 31 middle school students, 25 secondary school students, and 39 upper secondary school students.
72,162 students are presently not attending classes in Raiwind, according to the Punjab Education Department.
Only 30 teachers are serving 820 pupils in grades six through twelve at Sheikh Sardar Higher Secondary School, where there are 47 open teaching positions.
