The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore, Pakistan, has a long history dating back to the late 19th century. It was initially established as a veterinary school in 1882 during British colonial rule in the subcontinent by Sir William Henry Hadow. It is recognized and affiliated with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan

UVAS offers a wide range of academic programs related to veterinary medicine, animal sciences, and allied disciplines.
