Established in 2017, Government Degree College Achyni Payan is a public sector college situated near Peshawar on the city's Ring Road. Though named after Achini Payan village, the college is actually located about 6 kilometers away, closer to Landi Akhun Ahmad village. It is affiliated with the University of Peshawar.

Despite being relatively new, Government Degree College Achyni Payan offers a range of educational opportunities. Students can pursue their first year of programs in both the Arts and Sciences streams, including the traditional FA/FSc (Bachelor of Arts/Science) and the more vocational AD/ADS (Associate Degree in Arts/Science) options.

The college boasts a modern campus spread over 23 Kanals of land. The current two-story building houses an academic block, an administration block, an examination hall, well-equipped science laboratories, a library, and a cafeteria. This provides a comprehensive learning environment for students.
