Nestled within the Punjab Small Industries Estate in Daska, Pakistan, lies the Cast Metals & Foundry Technology Centre (CM&FT). Established in 2005, this center has become a crucial player in supporting the country's engineering and, particularly, its cast and metal industries.

CM&FT's mission is multifaceted. It serves as a knowledge hub, offering a plethora of services to empower various stakeholders. For research scholars, institutes, and industries, it conducts and promotes collaborative industrial projects, providing valuable consultancy and advisory services.

CM&FT offers a 3-year Diploma in Associate Engineer (Cast Metals & Foundry Technology) program, recognized by the Punjab Skills Development Authority (TEVTA). 

The curriculum covers a wide range of theoretical and practical aspects of metal casting, including pattern making, molding, melting, casting, solidification, heat treatment, quality control, and non-destructive testing.

CM&FT provides comprehensive technical services and consultancy to the foundry industry. CM&FT's contributions have significantly impacted the Pakistani foundry industry. The center has helped to improve the quality and efficiency of casting processes, develop new products, and enhance the competitiveness of Pakistani foundry products in the international market.
