In a meeting led by its chairman, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Wafaqul Madaris Al-Arabia took a number of significant decisions on Wednesday.
According to the Wafaqul Madaris Council, seminaries that are affiliated with the organization will not allow online learning platforms.
It also emphasized that the only acceptable way to enforce Islamic law in the nation is through a peaceful movement and made a strong stand against using force against the government in the name of Sharia.
Under Wafaqul Madaris, the meeting also decided that students who shave their beards will not be allowed to take exams.
In addition, the body has decided that office bearers will not publish images or recordings of their meetings and events.
The implementation of online learning in connected seminaries was also the subject of reports.
Following the Board's and other institutions' textbooks as a guide, Wafaqul Madaris will create textbooks for the primary, sixth, and seventh grades.
The body resolved in a meeting presided over by Mufti Taqi Usmani to modify the rules and regulations pertaining to women's seminaries.
The State Bank and a few chosen religious organizations will work together to get rid of the interest-based system.
Students' tests will henceforth be given in two stages in an effort to raise the caliber of the annual exams.
The council also reaffirmed that academics are blatantly opposed to armed movements and advised that seminaries not be subjected to needless demands.
Online Verification of Students Data
The Inter-Boards Coordination Commission has met with the representatives of Wafaqul Mardaris and stressed participating in online verification of students' data.
This move will not only save students time and effort but also provide more transparency.
The meeting has ended with a positive response from both sides.
