In accordance with directives from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the SZABMU MDCAT retake exams are being administered in Islamabad today, Monday, December 12, 2024.
On Monday, it was stated that the test will start at 11 a.m.
Applicants are coming from Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and Islamabad.
The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) retake, scheduled for today at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) on December 30, has attracted up to 12,500 applicants.
SZABMU administered the entrance exam for medical colleges in Islamabad, AJK, as well as two locations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. But after receiving several complaints, the IHC ordered the university to retake the exam.
The institution has declared that the results of the test administered on September 22 will not be altered; nevertheless, individuals who would like to retake the MDCAT may apply.
There are 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on the test, and that time limit is three hours.
A considerable proportion of students who had applied for the IHC are currently taking this important test.
The MDCAT exam in Islamabad was formerly scheduled to end on December 22, 2024.
