The Ministry of Industries and Production, Islamabad, is seeking qualified, well-experienced, and motivated professionals for appointment under the Special Professional Pay Scale (SPPS) on a contract basis. Below are the available positions:

1. Privatization Specialist (SPPS-II)

Job Description:

  • Provide expert advisory services on privatization policies and strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis on corporate finance, asset valuation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including government entities and private organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake privatization and financial advisory services.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of privatization projects.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 15+ years in corporate finance, privatization, and public sector reforms.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s political, economic, and regulatory environment; excellent analytical and communication skills.

2. Corporate Legal Advisor (SPPS-II)

Job Description:

  • Provide legal advisory services on corporate matters and privatization.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and regulatory policies.
  • Represent the Ministry in legal proceedings when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and public sector laws.
  • Provide expert legal opinions on privatization and regulatory frameworks.
  • Handle commercial transactions, including PPP privatization deals.

Requirements:

  • Education: LL.B or LL.M degree; Advocate of the High Court of Pakistan.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in legal advisory roles, particularly in corporate law, finance, and public-private partnerships.
  • Skills: Strong contract negotiation, litigation, and regulatory compliance expertise.

3. Industrial Economist (SPPS-III)

Job Description:

  • Conduct research and economic analysis in industrial policy and trade.
  • Develop statistical and econometric models for forecasting economic trends.
  • Provide policy recommendations based on economic data.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze industrial market dynamics and economic growth factors.
  • Work with financial and statistical models for data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare reports and policy briefs for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in Economics, International Trade, or related fields.

4. Industrial Policy Advisor (SPPS-II)
