SAU Tandojam achieves NAEAC accreditation for its BS Food Technology and Environmental Science programs.

The most recent NAEAC evaluation gave the BS Food Technology program a distinguished W3 category certification and the BS Environmental Science program an X1 category, indicating excellent adherence to national academic standards and superior teaching, research, and infrastructure.

In addition to congratulating the departments and teachers, SAU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal expressed gratitude for their hard work and dedication to academic advancement.

Dr. Siyal stated, "This recognition reflects the university's forward-looking vision and ongoing efforts to strengthen the quality of agriculture and environmental sciences applied research and higher education."

The accreditation, he continued, also demonstrates the university's dedication to giving students access to state-of-the-art laboratories, a cutting-edge curriculum, and highly skilled faculty members.

NAEAC external reviewers praised both departments for their emphasis on real-world learning, student support networks, and significant research output. The new accreditation, according to the university, would increase graduates' recognition in domestic and foreign employment markets and provide them with more chances.

Pakistan Secures 6-Year Extension in IPEA Membership

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has obtained a six-year extension in its full membership of the International Professional Engineers Agreement (IPEA), under the auspices of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA), which significantly increases the international mobility and recognition of Pakistani engineers.

During IEAM 2025, which took place in Mexico from June 8–13, the announcement was made. PEC was represented at the conference by Engr. Dr. Sarosh Lodhi, Senior Vice Chairman.

This breakthrough demonstrates Pakistan's ongoing adherence to international engineering standards, laws, and practices.

In June 2018, following a thorough peer-review procedure, Pakistan became the first country to be granted full IPEA membership. Since then, PEC has established a strong mechanism to grant competent engineers the IntPE title, improving their reputation and job opportunities overseas.

PEC's dedication to preserving global best practices in engineering education, professional growth, and ethics is recognized by the six-year extension.

PEC Chairman Engineer Waseem Nazir called the extension a historic accomplishment for Pakistan's engineering community. With its renewal, PEC's regulatory framework and our engineers' professional skills are once again trusted by the international community.

He stated that it enhances Pakistan's presence in the global engineering scene and gives Pakistani engineers more chances to contribute to foreign projects.

PEC hopes to foster global cooperation, increase outreach to engineering professionals, and streamline the registration process for IntPE applicants with this renewed mandate.

The extension not only raises Pakistani engineers' profile internationally but also shows how important the country is becoming to the engineering community worldwide.
