The smart syllabus for grades nine and ten will be posted on the official websites of all education boards and the School Education Department today, according to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat.

The minister also affirmed that the grade 11 smart syllabus will be posted the following week in a brief statement posted on his official social media accounts.

For Punjab educators and students, who have been anticipating the publication of the updated curriculum for the next school year, the announcement represents a significant upgrade.

The new smart syllabus seeks to make schoolwork easier, lessen the workload for pupils, and guarantee more concentrated board test preparation.

The updated syllabus will eliminate unnecessary topics and concentrate on important courses to help pupils study effectively for tests, according to school officials. As a step toward a more efficient and realistic educational system, educators have praised the decision.

Following the publication of the syllabus, students are encouraged to visit the relevant websites and start preparing appropriately. This initiative is a component of the Punjab government's continuous endeavors to improve learning outcomes and curriculum quality in both public and private schools throughout the province.

Lahore Board Issues for Class 12th Annual Exams

Roll number slips have been formally distributed by the Lahore Board to applicants for the Class 12 Second Annual Examinations in 2025.

These roll number slips, which are readily available on the Lahore Board's official website, are a necessary prerequisite for all applicants to take their exams.

A total of 50,327 applicants have registered to take the tests this year. The tests are scheduled to start on October 29, 2025, and it is recommended that applicants make sure they have their roll number slips before the exam begins.

The Lahore Board has also advised students to confirm the information on their roll number slips, such as the exam location and timetable, in order to prevent confusion on test day. As quickly as feasible, the board should be informed of any disparities.

Roll number slips are also available online, and candidates who have trouble using the website can get help by going to the board headquarters or their local testing location.
