Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), declared that Palestinian students have been exempted from the equivalency charge due to the dire humanitarian situation in Palestine.

He said in a statement that the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training's special instructions have led to the granting of this exemption, making it easier for them to pursue higher education.

He continued, "The main goal of this fee exemption is to give Palestinian students studying in Pakistan immediate relief and to guarantee the continuation of their educational activities."

Dr. Mallah emphasized that under challenging situations, education is the best way to fortify youth and guide them toward a better future.

Subsequently, he reiterated that even in the most difficult circumstances, Pakistan will continue to offer Palestinian students all the educational assistance possible.

The IBCC representative stated that Pakistan has consistently shown support for the oppressed Palestinian people and that it is our moral obligation to assist their children's education.

Security alert issued for educational institutions

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has issued a high-security alert for Islamabad's educational institutions.

Every school and college has been instructed to improve security measures, and the presence of security guards at entry and departure points is now required.

In addition to ordering the creation of a security and vigilance committee, FDE mandated that institutions maintain CCTV cameras and metal detectors.

The FDE authorities also mandated that watchmen be present around-the-clock, that daily security inspections be carried out, and that logbooks be kept.

In the event of an emergency, the educational institutions were directed to get in touch with the closest police station right away.

All institutions are required to receive weekly security reports from FDE.

FDE cautioned that individuals who disregard security directives will face consequences.
