With the announcement of six new degree programs for the next academic year, the University of Home Economics Lahore has begun its online admissions process.

The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology are two of the recently added degrees. Applications are also being accepted by the institution for Early Childhood Care and Education, BS Chemistry, BS Public Health and Nutrition, and BS Zoology. Admissions are now being accepted for 28 BS Honors programs in total.

Applications are due on July 25 for both the BS and MPhil programs. Online banking or smartphone apps are convenient ways for applicants to pay their admission costs.

To finish their applications, interested candidates are urged to go to the Home Economics University website.

Punjab Introduces Mathematics Book for Class 9

All ninth-grade students, whether in the Arts or Science group, will now use the same mathematics textbook.

This implies that the math book used by the students in the Arts group will now be the same as that of their Science group counterparts.

This change was formally announced by the Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTA), which also sent out instructions to all schools on how to apply the new policy.

Regarding the same math textbook for the ninth grade, PECTA has given guidelines to all schools in this regard. Also worth noting is the discontinuation of the ninth arts group's general science book. The news about teaching general math to ninth graders is untrue, according to PECTA sources.

The new math curriculum, according to education experts, has been made to be clear and easy to understand, making it suitable for kids studying the arts as well.
