- 2011
The Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) 2025 registration period is already open, according to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
This test is mandatory for students wishing to enroll in undergraduate programs in several top Pakistani universities.
According to HEC's notification, the exam date is set for September 28, 2025, while the final registration date is set for September 9, 2025. Students are required to fill an online application at etc.hec.gov.pk, the official website.
The purpose of USAT is to assess a candidate's suitability and readiness for undergraduate study. For many colleges, especially those that use HEC rules for admissions, it is a standard prerequisite for admission.
Who can apply for USAT?
HEC clarified that students can take the test if they have:
Completed a Grade 12 education or its equivalent
Appeared for final exams and are awaiting their outcomes.
In the upcoming academic session, this gives both newly passed students and those who are awaiting results a timely opportunity to prove their eligibility for undergraduate programs.
HEC has also opened an online help desk at onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk for students who get stuck throughout the registration process.
The USAT program is part of HEC's overarching goal to improve Pakistani higher education's caliber, openness, and accessibility. A merit-based system that offers all students nationwide equal chances is another goal of the USAT effort.
Additionally, HEC is actively using its official social media accounts to spread the word about the registration in an effort to draw in more students.
