The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), part of the Prime Minister’s Office, Government of Pakistan, seeks applications for two positions on a contractual basis for an initial period of 24 months, extendable based on performance and requirements. The appointments will be made on an open-merit basis.

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the construction of pre-stressed concrete structures to ensure durability and safety.

• Analyze earthquake seismology data to assess potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.

• Evaluate existing structures for disaster risks and develop retrofitting plans to enhance resilience.

• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies for disaster risk assessment and infrastructure planning.
