The University of Sargodha (UoS) and Bangor University (BU), UK, inked an articulation agreement to facilitate student mobility and cooperative academic programs in business disciplines, thereby enhancing international academic collaboration.

The UoS has officially established a partnership with Bangor University, making it the second university in Pakistan to do so.

In front of Vice Chancellor UoS Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas and Mr. Javed, Country Head of BU for Pakistan, the agreement was formally signed at UoS by Prof. Dr. Ijaz Asghar, Director of External Linkages, and Ms. Sergine Monple, Director of Global Engagement at Bangor University.

As per the agreement, qualified UoS students can transfer to Bangor University to earn a BU degree that is comparable to those granted in the UK after finishing two or three years of their undergraduate business programs.

The collaboration will also be extended into faculty exchanges, collaborative research projects, and other fields by both schools.

Speaking at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas praised the partnership and described it as an important step in improving academic performance and international exposure for Pakistani students.

Bangor's varied learning community is excited to welcome UoS students, Ms. Monple said.
