Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to ensure that all MEP and Architectural/Structural quantity takeoffs are accurate, error-free, and delivered according to client expectations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in reviewing project takeoffs, verifying scope coverage, and upholding the company’s commitment to precise estimations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough QA reviews of MEP and Architectural/Structural takeoff reports before delivery.

• Ensure complete scope coverage and identify any missing or duplicated quantities.
• Cross-check drawings and specifications to validate the accuracy of takeoff data.
• Coordinate with estimators and technical teams to rectify errors and enhance quality.
• Maintain QA documentation, checklists, and approval logs.
• Implement and enforce internal QA/QC processes to prevent recurring errors.
• Report quality trends, provide feedback to the team, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure all deliverables meet company standards and client requirements.
• Assist in training junior staff on QA procedures and accuracy benchmarks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and other estimation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical teams.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA for quantity takeoffs and drawing reviews.
