Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Accountant to manage financial transactions, tax filings, and compliance for our office located on Peco Road, Lahore. Candidates with prior experience in software houses are preferred. This role involves remote work with 4–6 onsite meetings per month.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily financial transactions and bookkeeping.

  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).

  • Manage income tax and sales tax filing and compliance.

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records.

  • Liaise with auditors and tax consultants as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and updated financial records.

  • Assist in budget planning and forecasting.

  • Attend 4–6 onsite meetings monthly for reporting and reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience working as an accountant, preferably in a software house.

  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s tax laws and return filing procedures.

  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, or local ERPs).

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of payroll processing and invoicing systems in the IT industry.
