Responsibilities:

• Translate written content from English to Norwegian, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the original meaning and context.
• Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure high quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with other translators and team members to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Research industry-specific terminology to ensure accuracy in translations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Adapt translations to suit the cultural and linguistic nuances of the target audience.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, English Literature, or a related field.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Norwegian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience as a translator, with a strong portfolio of translated work.
• Familiarity with translation software and tools.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in translating documents related to IT, legal, medical, or technical fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong research skills and ability to adapt to various writing styles.
