To better serve Pakistani nationals living abroad as well as those living here locally, the Department of Immigration and Passport, in partnership with the Office of the Interior Minister, has announced the reopening of its online passport renewal e-service site.

These days, all it takes to register with the postal service is a few easy steps via email. You may then pay your fee online and follow the instructions to finish the procedure.

How to apply for a passport renewal online

• The first step is to register on the Department of Immigration and Passport's e-service portal.
• Now complete the application profile with your personal data.
• Remember to provide true and correct information.
• Applicants can now use credit cards, debit cards, and mobile internet transaction apps to pay the fees associated with renewing their passports online.
• Fill in for the applicant the details of their permanent address.
• Upload the necessary files.

• An image of a CNIC card, or national identity card or expired passport
