Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Undergraduate Programs:

BS Programs

Eligibility

BS (Computer Science)
  • SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination with 60% minimum marks.
  • HSSC (FSc) or an equivalent examination with 50% minimum marks.
  • Courses studied at HSSC or equivalent level with Mathematics.
  • Applicant must select only one out of the three admission test options;
  • FAST-NUCES
  • SAT (minimum score of 1200 or more)
  • NTS NAT-IE, NAT-ICS

BS (Software Engineering)
  • SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination with 60% minimum marks.
  • HSSC (FSc) or an equivalent examination with 50% minimum marks.
  • Courses studied at HSSC or equivalent level with Pre-Engg (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics) OR ICS (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)
  • Applicant must select only one out of the three admission test options;

  • NTS NAT-IE, ECAT / ETEA

BS (Electrical Engineering)
  • SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination with 60% minimum marks.

Bachelor of Science (Artificial Intelligence)

  • Applicant must select only one out of the three admission test options;

Bachelor of Science (Internet of Things)
  • SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination with 60% minimum marks.
  • HSSC (FSc) or an equivalent examination with 50% minimum marks.
  • Courses studied at HSSC or equivalent level with Pre-Engg (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics) OR ICS (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)
  • Applicant must select only one out of the three admission test options;

  • NTS NAT-IE, ECAT / ETEA

Bachelor of Science (Robotics)
  • At least 60% marks in SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination (such as O-levels).
  • Should have studied for HSSC or an equivalent qualification, for at least two years.
  • At least 60% marks in the Pre-Engineering or an equivalent examination.
  • 50% weight to marks obtained in Admission Test
  • Cut-off marks in the NTS-NAT IE exam to be determined by the University
  • Combined score of 1,000 or more in the SAT-I examination
  • At least 550 in the SAT-II (Math Level IIC) examination.

How to Register

Application Procedure:

  • Admission Application Form must be filled online by following the instructions. Click Herefor Online Admission Application
  • Applications received through post or by hand will not be accepted/entertained.
  • The online system assigns a unique Application Reference Number (ARN) to each applicant, which must be noted for later use.
  • Applicant will confirm that information entered in the Admission Application Form is correct. In case of incorrect information, the University has all the rights to cancel the application/admission without any fee refund.
  • Applicant will deposit the Application Fee in the designated Bank. Fee is non-refundable/adjustable.
  • Upon payment of the Application Processing Fee (and additional Admission Test Fee), the applicant will print his/her ADMIT CARD bearing the applicants TEST ROLL NUMBER.
  • The applicant should then visit the test campus on the specified date and time as mentioned on the Admit card.
  • Admission of a student automatically stands cancelled if he or she fails in the required exam whose result was not available at the time of admission.
  • The selected candidates are informed through SMS on their cell phones and also via email. The candidates should check the status of their admission from the University web siteadmissions.nu.edu.pkorwww.nu.edu.pk
  • At the time of admission, foreign nationals must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan.
