Eligibility Criteria
Masters in Human Nutrition and Dietetics:
- MS in Human Nutrition & Dietetics is specifically designed as a weekend programme to meet the needs of working professionals. The minimum duration for a master’s program is 1.5 years and the maximum is 4 years.
Ph.D. Human Nutrition and Dietetics:
- Candidates with an MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in nutrition or a related discipline are eligible to apply (candidates with a BS in Nutrition & Dietetics/ Home Economics with Nutrition major will be preferred).
- Appearance in Ziauddin University Entrance Test is mandatory for all applicants, who wish to seek admission in PhD program
- The test shall comprise of the following sections; Section-I Nutrition 70%, Section-II English 15%, Section-III Analytical Reasoning 15%.
- Candidates will be required to score at least 60% marks in each section to be eligible for consideration for provisional admission.
- If a candidate has already qualified for the International (subject) GRE/GAT/NTS, he/she will be exempted from the subject test component. The validity of International (subject) GRE is 5 years and NTS/GAT is for two years. The passing score of GRE minimum is 60% and that of NTS/GAT is 60%. However, the candidate has to appear in interview.
- To complete the admissions process, all students who pass the Ziauddin University Entrance Test must show up in person for an interview with the College of Human Nutrition & Dietetics.
How to Register
Application Process:
- Ensure you have an email account. If you don’t, create one.
- Visit the admission portal at admission.zu.edu.pk.
- Click on "Register as new applicant" or use the "All programs search" to find your desired program.
- Enter your academic qualifications accurately.
- Review all the entered information carefully and submit your application.
- After your account is created, you will receive two codes: one on your email and another on your cell number.
- Pay the processing fee using online debit/credit card, Paypro, or via cash payment.
- Enter the received codes and click on "Verify code".
- Re-login to your portal to view and print your admit card.
- Fill in your personal information accurately. Ensure all information is reviewed before final submission.
