Eligibility
|
MPhil English (Literature) |
- Any candidate having master's degree in English language and literature, ELT and TEFL with at least second division of 45% marks in annual system (or GPA 2.50/4 or 3.50/5 in semester system) from an HEC-recognized institution can apply for admission.
- The admission merit will be determined as under:
- Academic record (max 5 marks)
- Matriculation (60% marks or GPA 3 or 4/5) =1 mark
- Intermediate (60% marks or GPA 3/4 or 4/5) = 1 mark
- Bachelors (60% marks or GPA 3/4 or 4/5) = 1 mark
- Masters (60% marks or GPA 3 or 4) = 1 mark
- Master’s thesis, if opted and passed = 1 mark
- Publications (max 5 marks)
- Paper(s) published in HEC- recognized journals, one mark for each paper.
- Other, additional qualifications (max 5 marks)
- The applicants will be required to submit their GAT (General) result card (scoring 50% and above) as taken by NTS or any other organization established for the purpose.
- However, in case of university developed test, the pass marks will be 60% as per the existing rules of the university and the HEC of Pakistan.

MPhil Sports Science and Physical Education |
- For admission to the MPhil Sports Sciences & Physical Education (SSPE) course, candidates should have passed post-graduate degree in Physical Education & Sports Sciences (M.Sc./ MA/ M.PED/ M.P.E./BS 4 years (SSPE) or Sixteen (16) years of education in relevant subjects) of any University with at least second division in Master or BS with 2.00 out of 4.00 GPA recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- Applicants need to pass the NTS (GAT) at least 50% marks or locally prepared tests by the university with 60% marks, and interviews conducted by the department

MPhil Education |
- B.Sc./BS in education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 50% marks or (2 CGPA) is required.

MS Biological Sciences |
- B.Sc./BS in the relevant field.
|
MS Civil Engineering |
- B.Sc./BS/BE/B-Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 50% marks or 2.00 CGPA on the scale of 4.00 in qualifying degree
- Admission test
- The applications of the applicants with the Bachelor's degree other than Civil Engineering will be reviewed by Civil Engineering Graduate Admission Committee. The committee will decide eligibility and number of deficit undergraduate courses. The students will be required to attend a so called zero semester to compensate the deficiencies. The obtained Credit Hours (Cr. Hrs.) in zero semester will neither be considered in MS degree nor will be claimable for any other purpose or certificate etc.

MS Computer Science |
- B.Sc./BS in computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 50% marks or (2 CGPA) is required.

MS Cyber Security |
- B.Sc./BS in cyber security or equivalent.
- Minimum of 50% marks or (2 CGPA) is required.

MPhil International Relations |
- 16 Years of formal education.
- No third division in entire academic career.
- Pass any of the following with 50% marks:
- GRE / GAT / NTS (General); or
- MYU Graduate Admission Test; and
- Admission Interview by MYU Graduate Admission Committee
- Minimum 50% marks in previous degree MA in case of annual system or 2 /4.0 CGPA in case of semester system in the degree awarding institution for admission in MYU in MSIR Program.

MS Management Sciences |
- B.Sc./BS or equivalent.
- Minimum of 50% marks or (2 CGPA) is required.

MPhil Urdu |
- B.Sc./BS in Urdu or equivalent.
- Minimum of 50% marks or (2 CGPA) is required.

MPhil Islamic Studies |
- M.A., BS Islamic studies or equivalent degree, earned from a recognized university after 16 years of education with at least Second Division or CGPA of at least 2 (on a scale of 4.0).
- Entry requirements:
- Written departmental test: 40 Marks
- Interview: 10 Marks
- Academic Qualification: 50 Marks (FSC /A levels = 15 marks; BS/MA/MSc = 35 marks)

- B.Sc./BS in Mathematics or equivalent.
