PhD Eligibility Criteria:

Program Eligibility
Ph.D. Bioinformatics
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.
  • Candidates must have passed the Departmental Test / GAT (Subject) conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks.
Ph.D. Chemistry (Inorganic, Organic, Physical)
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.
  • Candidates must have passed the Departmental Test / GAT (Subject) conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks.
Ph.D. Computer Science (Networking, Multi-Agent Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Semantic Web, Data Science)
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.
  • Candidates must have passed the Departmental Test / GAT (Subject) conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks.
Ph.D. Education
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.

Ph.D. Mathematics
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.

Ph.D. Microbiology
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.

Ph.D. Economics
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.

Ph.D. Islamiyat

Ph.D. Management Science (Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing)

Ph.D. Statistics
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.

Ph.D. Urdu
  • Candidates having MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.
  • Candidates must have passed the Departmental Test / GAT (Subject) conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks.

How to Register

Admission Procedure:

  • Forms are available at the University website, www.sbbwu.edu.pk 
  • An amount of Rs.2000/- to be deposited at UBL University Branch Main Campus, Larama Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar.
  • Candidates employed in any government or semi government institution/organization must submit NOC within 30 days of initial selection failing which the selection will be deemed as cancelled.
  • Application form duly filled in and supported by the attested copies of Educational Certificates/Degrees/Bank Slip shall be submitted directly to the Examinations Section, Main Campus, Larama, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar.
  • Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
