Pharmacy |
- 70% Marks or 3.00/4.00 CGPA in MS/M Phil
- Valid GAT Subject score.

Chemistry |
- An 18 years degree (MS/MPhil) with thesis of 06 credit hours or its equivalent degree with thesis of 06 credit hours, in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 (semester system) or 70% marks (annual system) and no third division (annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
- GRE (subject) as per HEC policy or NTS GAT General with minimum score of 60.

Biotechnology |
- MS/MPhil with the thesis in relevant field.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 in the semester system or 70% marks in an annual system with no 3rd division or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
- NTS-GAT (Subject) with a minimum of 60% marks or 70% score in any other test adopted by the university.

Civil Engineering |
- Master's degree (MS) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in a relevant field.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 in the semester system or 70% marks in the annual system.
- No third division or "D" grade throughout your academic career.
- Thesis of 6 credit hours or its equivalent Have a valid NTS (GAT General) score .

Computer Science |
- MS/MPhil (18 years of education) or its equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited institute with minimum 70% marks (annual system) or CGPA 3.0/4.0 (semester system) with no third division or D grade throughout academic career.
- GRE (Subject) as per HEC policy or NTS GAT (Subject) with 60% or higher marks and
- Interview.

Development Studies |
- An MS/MPhil degree in the field of Social/Natural Sciences with Thesis of 06 credit hours or its equivalent degree with Thesis of 06 credit hours, in the relevant field from an accredited institution, with minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (Semester system) or 70% marks (annual system), and no third division (annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
- GRE (Subject) as per HEC policy or NTS GAT (subject) with a minimum score of 60.

Electrical Engineering |
- MS/M.Phil. degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution.
- Minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4 (semester system) OR
- 70% marks (annual system).
- No third division throughout the academic career.
- NTS GAT Subject test minimum score of 60.

Management Sciences |
- MS/M. Phil or equivalent degree in the relevant field from accredited institution with CGPA 3.0/4.0 or 70% marks with no third division (or D grade) throughout academic career.
- NTS (subject) test with 60% marks.

Computer Engineering |
- MS/MPhil degree with a thesis of 6 credit hours or equivalent Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (semester system) or 70% marks (annual system).

- A minimum score of 60 on the GRE (Subject) or NTS GAT (subject).
- A 16-year degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, or a related discipline Pass the prerequisite courses recommended by the departmental graduate Admission Committee.

- MS/MPhil in Geology or a closely relevant field.
- The thesis of 06 credit hours in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with a minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 (semester system), 70 % marks (annual system) and no 3rd Division (annual system) or D-grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
- GRE (subject) as per HEC policy or NTS/GAT (subject) with a minimum score of 60% is required.

Geophysics |
- MS/MPhil in Geology, Geophysics, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Hydrology, Hydro geophysics, Earth Sciences, Minerology, Geochemistry, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Geology, Atmospheric Physics, and Climatology.
- The thesis of 06 credit hours in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 (semester system), 70 % marks (annual system) and no 3rd Division (annual system) or D-grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
- GRE (subject) as per HEC policy or NTS/GAT (subject) with a minimum score of 60% is required.

Mathematics |
- An MS/Phil with Thesis or its equivalent degree with Thesis, in the relevant field, from an accredited educational institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (under semester system) or 70% marks (under conventional system) with no third division (annual system) or 'D' grade (Semester System) throughout the academic career.
- GRE (subject) as per HEC policy, or NTS GAT (subject) with at least 60% marks (must be valid on the date of admission) or 70% score in any other entry test adopted by the
- CUI result-awaiting students may be admitted provisionally in PhD programs at the CUI However, their admission shall be confirmed after being awarded MS degrees with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0.
- In the case of an MS degree by Research where coursework/CGPA is not mentioned, the student may be admitted in the PhD program on the recommendation of the Chairperson and approval of the Dean concerned.

Environmental Sciences |
- MS/MPhil degree with 06 credit hours thesis or equivalent in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (semester system) or 70% marks (annual system), and no third division (annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
- Valid admission test (GAT subject OR GRE subject) as per HEC policy with at least 60% marks.
- Interview assessment.
