Eligibility
Civil Engineering
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors) from any HEC recognized institution/University and Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Electrical Engineering
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors) from any HEC recognized institution/University and Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Mechanical Engineering
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors) from any HEC recognized institution/University and Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Computer Science
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category
Business Administration
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
  • The merit of a candidate shall be measured by prescribed formula.
Mathematics
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Chemistry
  • Holding a 16-year degree in the relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
  • ISP-Admit Test conducted by the ISP-Admit Test conducted by the ISP Admission office or GAT-General (CAT-C) (nts.edu.pk/gat.asp) with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required at the time of admission. 
Physics
  • Sixteen years of schooling or 4 year education in relevant field from HEC recognized DAI will be required for admission.
  • ISP-Admit Test conducted by the ISP Admission office or GAT-General (CAT-C) (nts.edu.pk/gat.asp) with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required at the time of admission.
English
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Education
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.

Economics

Urdu
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Psychology
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
Islamic Studies
  • 16 years of education in the relevant disciplines with minimum 60 % marks (with a minimum of 130 credit hours in Bachelors and 60 credit hours in the Master program in the relevant field) from any HEC recognized institution/University.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
MBA 1.5 Years
  • Candidates possessing a 4 years bachelor degree in Business Administration of at least 130 credit hours or 2 years Bachelor of Business Studies of at least 60 credit hours and a minimum CGPA of 2.5 are eligible to apply.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.
MBA 2 Years
  • 16 years non business degree MSc /MA / MBBS / BSc / BE (engineering) / BSc (Agriculture) / LLB / 4 years BA/BS program or any other equivalent education as endorsed by the HEC having at least second division, securing 45% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
  • Minimum 50 marks in ISP Admit Test or in NTS GAT Test in relevant category.

How to Register

Application Process:

  • Admission will be open to all, based upon merit and subject to the meeting of criteria irrespective of race, gender, and ethnicity or socio-economic conditions.
  • Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs shall be made twice a year; i.e. for Fall Semester and for Spring Semester.
  • The number of students to be admitted in a program shall be determined by the Admission Committee at the time of admissions, on case to case basis.
  • Applicants will apply for admission on admission form placed in prospectus or via online admission portal.
  • For all Regular programs (Morning), maximum age limit for applicant is 24 years on the closing date of Admissions.
  • All information submitted by the applicants for admission should be supported by attested copies of all relevant documents including transcripts and certificates; lack of official proof shall render a document invalid.
  • The applicant shall remain responsible for the provision of complete, correct and timely (before the closing date) information to the Admission Office; incomplete or incorrect information will not be entertained.
  • Provision of false, forged or fake document(s) or such entry in the admission form shall be dealt with the prevailing laws of the land. In such a case, the applicant's request shall not be processed for admission. The admission of such an applicant shall be cancelled.
  • The Institute reserves the right to cancel the degree of such a candidate, at any stage, who succeeds in getting admission by submitting forged / false document(s) or making false entries.
  • The Institute will offer Special Scholarship to the students according to the policy.
  • However, the Admission Committee reserves the right to increase, decrease or abolish the specified percentage of scholarships, on case to case basis.
