Psychology |
- MS/M. Phil / Equivalent Degree in any field of Psychology from HEC recognized University or M.Sc. in above stated subject from a foreign university.
- (Minimum score of 60 in the GAT Subject Test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) is required).

Management Sciences |
- MS/M. Phil. in Business / Management Sciences. Students with non-research-based prior degrees are not eligible to apply.
- (GAT Subject is not required. Applicants will have to appear in a subject-specific written test conducted by the department and a score of 60 is required).

Communication and Media Studies |
- MS/M. Phil / Equivalent Degree in Mass Communication/Communication and Media Studies/Journalism/Multimedia Journalism/Media Studies (GAT Subject is not required.

Computer Science |
- MS/M. Phil / Equivalent Degree in Computer Science and relevant fields. (Minimum score of 60 in the GAT Subject Test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) is required).
