Electrical Engineering

MS Computer Science
  • A minimum of 16 years degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with minimum of first division (annual system) or CGPA of 2.5/4.0 (semester system) with no third division or D grade in academic career.

Computer Engineering
  • A 16 years degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with First Division (annual system) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system).
  • No third division or D grade throughout the academic career.
  • GAT (General) with 50% marks.
MS Pharmacy
  • A 16 years degree in the relevant field from an accredited institution, with minimum First division (annual system) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system) and no third division (Annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout academic career.
  • NTS GAT (General) with minimum score of 50.
MS Clinical Psychology
  • Sixteen years of education with BS in Psychology from an accredited educational institution
  • NTS (GAT General test) with 50% marks

MS Energy and Environmental Engineering
  • A 16-years degree preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Power Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Technology, Polymer Technology, or in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution, with First Division (annual system) or minimum CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system) and no third division (annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career.
  • NTS GAT (General) with minimum 50 score (must be valid on the date of admission)..
  • All other terms and conditions regarding Graduate programs approved by the Competent Authority from time to time shall be applicable.
MS Chemistry
  • A 16 years degree in any discipline of Chemistry from an accredited institution, with minimum First division (annual system) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system) and no third division (Annual system) or 'D' grade (semester system) throughout academic career.
  • NTS GAT (General) with minimum score of 50.
Economics
  • Minimum 75% marks in relevant sixteen years of education in annual system. OR
  • Minimum 2.5 CGPA in BS or equivalent in semester system.
MS Project Management
  • 16 years degree in business administration, administrative sciences, public administration, or relevant discipline from an accredited educational institution.
  • NTS (GAT General test) with 50% marks
Chemical Engineering
  • A 16-years degree preferably in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Technology, Polymer Technology, or in the relevant field related to Engineering and Technology From an accredited educational institution, with First Division (annual system) or minimum CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system) and no third division (annual system) or D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career
  • NTS GAT (General) with minimum 50 score (must be valid on the date of admission).
  • All other terms and conditions regarding Graduate programs approved by the Competent Authority from time to time shall be applicable.
MS Management Sciences
  • 16 years degree in business administration, administrative sciences, public administration, or relevant discipline from an accredited educational institution with first division (annual system) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system)
  • No third division or D grade throughout the academic career
  • NTS (GAT General test) with 50% marks
Energy Systems Engineering
  • A 16-year degree preferably in Energy, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Petroleum & Gas, Polymer, Metallurgy, Materials, Mining, Geology, Power, and Industrial Engineering or in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution, with First Division (annual system) or minimum CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system) and no third division (annual system) or 4D grade (semester system) throughout the academic career
  • A NTS GAT (General) with a minimum 50 scores (must be valid on the date of admission).
  • All other terms and conditions regarding Graduate programs approved by the Competent Authority from time to time shall be applicable.
Business Administration (MBA)
  • 16 years undergraduate qualification from an accredited educational institution, with minimum First Division (Annual System) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (Semester System) and no third division (Annual System) or D grade (Semester System) throughout the academic career.
  • NTS GAT (General) with minimum score of 50 as per CUI policy.
Mathematics
  • A 16 years degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with first division (annual system) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system) with no third division(Annual System) or D grade(Semester System) throughout the academic career.

How to Register

Application Process:

  • Sign Up at Online Admissions System.
  • Click here for Online Admissions Demo.
  • Email Authentication After successful sign up please activate your account by authenticating your email address (to authenticate, please follow the link sent in your email from Admission System).
  • Login your admission account using the login panel given at the right side of your screen.
  • Enter your application details in the 12 sections (visible after login).
  • Upload the required documents. Print the challan form, submit it in any nearest branch of HBL, and upload the paid challan scanned copies to admission portal for completion of your form.
  • NTS test is compulsory for applying in COMSATS for any degree program, without NTS test your form will not be considered for merit list.

  • NTS Test Slip will be issued to you at your admission portal account.
  • Submit your application using the "Submit Application Form" link.
  • Admissions in CUI are granted on the basis of open merit amongst the eligible candidates subject to the availability of seats in each program.
  • The candidates may apply in response to admission advertisement appearing in the print media and on CUI website, Admission form is available on our online admission portal by due date.
  • All eligible candidates are considered for admission in any degree program without any discrimination on the basis of gender, religion, or domicile.
  • Candidates waiting for their result of F.A. /FSC or A-Level may also apply on the basis of Hope Certificate.
  • Such candidates shall be granted provisional admission and their admission shall be confirmed on the submission of result, meeting the prerequisite marks percentage (within one month from the first day of classes).
  • Sample of Hope Certificate is available here: The merit list for each program is generated on the basis of previous academic record of the applicant and his/her performance in the admission (NTS) test.
  • The list of the selected applicants is displayed on the specified dates on the campus notice board as well as on the CUI Lahore website.
