Eligibility
|
Accounting and Finance (MPhil) |
- Level 6 Bachelor (Hons) of 8-10 semesters with 124-140+ Credits Hours in relevant subject.
- Level 6 MA/MSc (16 years) in relevant subject.
- The students with 16 years of non-business education will be required to do 30 to 36 credit hours of deficiency courses before they can become eligible for admission to MS/ M.Phil. program. The following courses are recommended to be successfully completed as the minimum requirement.
- Any qualifications/degree program which are declared equivalent to Level 6 in relevant subject by the Higher Education Commission.
- Minimum 2.5/4.0 CGPA in semester system or 60% in annual system examination are required.
- Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) administrated by the relevant department is mandatory for all postgraduate programs.

Computer Sciences (MS) |
- Degree in relevant subject, earned from a recognized university after 16 years of education with at least 60 % marks or CGPA of at least 2.0 on scale of 4.0.
- The following core courses are recommended to be completed before entering the MSCS program.
- Analysis of Algorithms
- Assembly Language / Computer Architecture
- Computer Networks
- Computer Programming
- Data Structures
- Database Systems
- Operating Systems
- Software Engineering
- Theory of Automata
- Deficiency courses shall be determined by the Graduate Student Committee, before admitting the students.
- A student cannot register in MS courses, unless all specified deficiency courses have been passed.

English Applied Linguistics (MPhil) |
- Bachelor (Hons) of 8-10 semesters with 124-140+ Credits Hours.
- MA/MSc (16 years of education).
- International Qualifications:
- Any qualification/degree program which is declared equivalent to Masters by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Minimum 2.00/4.0 CGPA in semester system or second division (i.e. 45 percentile score) under the annual system examination is required to apply for admission in MPhil Applied Linguistics.
- UChenab entry test and interview are mandatory.

Food Science and Technology (MPhil) |
- Undergraduate with minimum sixteen years of qualification having B.Sc. (Hons) Food Science and Technology/Food Technology/Food Engineering or B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture with major Food Technology/Animal Husbandry/Animal Science.
- B.Sc. (Hons) Dairy Technology/Dairy Science and Technology. DVM/B.Sc. (Hons) Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/B.Sc. (Hons) Home Economics (Food and Nutrition), B.Sc. (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc. (Hons) Poultry Science, BS Biochemistry, B.Sc. (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics. Bachelor of Dietetics & Nutritional Sciences/Doctor of Dietetics & Nutritional Sciences or other relevant degrees.

Management Sciences (MPhil) |

- Level 6 Bachelor (Hons) [8-10 semesters with 124-140+ Credits Hours] in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer System Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics and Statistical Sciences, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Software Project Management or any relevant subject.
- Level 6 MA/MSc (16 years) in relevant subject described above.
- The following core courses are recommended to be completed before entering the program. 1. Human Computer Interaction 2. Software Construction & Development 3. Software Design & Architecture 4. Software Project Management 5. Software Quality Engineering 6. Software Re-Engineering 7. Software Requirements Engineering 8. Web Engineering
- Minimum 2.0/4.0 CGPA in semester system or 60% in annual system examination are required.
- Student must pass a rigorous admission test as an eligibility condition for admission to MS programs, with a passing score of 50 %.
- Accept the GRE/HAT General/Equivalent tests, with a passing score of 50 %.
