| MS Arabic (Literature and Linguistics) |
- B.A. (Hons)/BS-(4 years) Arabic from IIU, 2-M.A. (Arabic) from IIU (2 years), 3-M.A (Arabic) from other Universities with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. 4. Shahadah-tul-Almiyah from recognized Wafaqs Board with 60% marks along with Equivalence Certificate from HEC. However, S. No.3&4 will have to study two semesters preparatory courses to enhance their skill to understand regular subjects of the program.

- BS 4 years in CS/SE/IT/CE degree program or equivalent having completed minimum 130 credit hours, OR MCS / M.Sc (CS), or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 60% marks in annual system. OR
- BCS (Hons) / BCS 3-years with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 60% marks in annual system. However, the student will be required to spend two additional semesters to study the deficient courses determined by the department.

- BS (CS/SE/IT) 4 years degree program min 130 credit hours, or MCS/M. Sc. (CS), or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system.
- BCS (Hons.) or BCS 3-years degree program with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. Student will be required to complete the deficiency of difference of earned credit hours and total of 130 credit hours.
- BS/BE (Computer/Electronics/Communication) engineering degree or M.Sc. (Electronics / Communication) with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. Student will be required to complete the deficiency courses.

| MS Project Management |
- All candidates with 16 Years education from an HEC recognized university will be eligible to take admission in this program with CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual/Conventional System where CGPA is not calculated or 65% marks in the semester system examination, where CGPA is not mentioned on terminal degree/transcript.

| MS Environmental Science |
- 16 Years Graduate Degree (MSc/BS) in Environmental Science or relevant disciplines with CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks from Annual/Conventional System where CGPA is not calculated or 65% marks in the semester system examination, where CGPA is not mentioned on terminal degree/transcript. The successful candidates applying from relevant disciplines like Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Forestry, Soil Sciences, Wildlife and Earth Sciences (Geography, Geology, GIS, Geophysics, and Metrology etc.) will have to pass deficiency courses of BS Environmental Science (Non-Credit) as prerequisite.

- MA/M.Sc./ BS (4 years)in Sociology/Rural Sociology/Urban Sociology, Gender Studies, Women Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, Population Studies/Demography, Criminology, Anthropology, History, Pakistan Studies and other relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 2.5/4,00 in semester system or 60% marks in annual system. The students of other than sociology/ Rural Sociology/ Urban Sociology will take deficiency courses to meet the requirements of MS Sociology.

Note: Candidates other than IIU have to study additional course(s) before starting their regular core courses.
