PhD Program Eligibility:

PhD Basic Sciences	The applicants must possess MBBS/ BDS with M. Phil / MD / MS / MDS / FCPS-II or Equivalent Qualification (18 Years of Education).
PhD Clinical Sciences	The applicants must possess MBBS/ BDS with M. Phil / MD / MS / MDS / FCPS-II or Equivalent Qualification (18 Years of Education).
PhD Anatomy	The applicants must possess MBBS/ BDS with M. Phil / MD / MS / MDS / FCPS-II or Equivalent Qualification (18 Years of Education).
PhD Biochemistry	The applicants must possess MBBS/ BDS with M. Phil / MD / MS / MDS / FCPS-II or Equivalent Qualification (18 Years of Education).
PhD Community Medicine	The applicants must possess MBBS/ BDS with M. Phil / MD / MS / MDS / FCPS-II or Equivalent Qualification (18 Years of Education).

How to Register

Admission Procedure:

• The Entry Examination for admission in PhD Program will be a competitive examination: The Entry Examination will consist of three components with maximum marks obtained as mentioned below:-
• Written paper 100 Marks
• Video Projected Examination 30 Marks
• Interview 20 Marks

Written Paper:

• The written paper will comprise of the questions from General Embryology, General Pathology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Analytical Abilities and English Language.
• The written paper will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions with single best answer.
• Each correct answer in MCQ's paper will carry 01 mark.

Video Projected Examination:

• The Video Projected Examination will consist of 15 videos / slides.
• The videos / slides will consist of data and images based on the subjects as specified above.
• Each correct answer will carry 2 marks.

Interview:

• The interview will be conducted by a Committee to be constituted by the Vice Chancellor and applicants shall be required to present all their original academic credentials at the time of interview, otherwise, they shall not be allowed to appear in the interview.

Result of Entry Examination:

• The applicants will have to pass Entry Examination by securing at least a cumulative 70% score to be calculated by adding up secured marks of each component of the examination and its percentage.
• Entry Examination shall be valid only for this particular admission and shall not be valid for subsequent admissions.
• Passing in Entry Examination DOES NOT ENTITLE a candidate automatically admitted in Ph.D. Program.

General Clauses:

• The allocation of training slots in Ph. D is highly competitive.
• Only candidates of top most merit shall be offered training position which would be limited to the available slots in the particular specialties.
• Training slots offered are purely unpaid.
