BS Anesthesia Technology
  • Matriculation or equivalent securing a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed obtaining minimum 65% marks, in higher secondary school certificate (HSCC) of F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination having minimum twelve years of education.
  • For A level Candidates, they must have passed obtaining minimum 65% marks on the aggregate, an examination of a course from a foreign university or examining body or foreign education system with at least three science subjects i.e. and physics, chemistry, biology /mathematics and such course must be duly certified by the Inter-Boards Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) as equivalent to higher secondary school (HSSC) or FSc (Pre-medical) or intermediate level of Pakistan.

BS Orthotics and Prosthetics Technology

Post RN BSN
  • Having diploma in 03 years General Nursing & 01 year Midwifery registered with Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad.
  • For male Nurse, 01 year specialized course diploma in any discipline registered with Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad.
  • In case of Public Sector, the candidate must have 03 years regular service on his/her credit and 03 years service as staff nurse in case of private candidate. (The regular/ Public candidates having 01 Year Regular service with total of 03 Years service can apply against Private seats).
  • Age limit for both candidates is 55 years from public/private sector which is subjected to Govt. Rules.
MBBS
  • Candidates must have completed Matriculation or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
  • Candidates should have completed F.Sc Pre-Medical, A-Level, or an equivalent program with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
  • A-Level candidates must provide an equivalence certificate from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Pakistan.
  • MDCAT is mandatory.
BDS
  • Candidates must have completed Matriculation or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
  • Candidates should have completed F.Sc Pre-Medical, A-Level, or an equivalent program with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
  • A-Level candidates must provide an equivalence certificate from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Pakistan.
  • MDCAT is mandatory.

How to Register

Application Process for DPT:

  • Application form of Doctor of Physiotherapy may be collected from School of Physiotherapy.
  • Mayo Hospital/KEMU, Lahore or can be downloaded from www.kemu.edu.pk
  • Two sets of application along with relevant documents will be acceptable
  • Admission processing fee can only be deposited in Allied Bank, KEMU/Mayo Hospital Branch. Lahore or Pay order of Rs. 300 in favor of Vice Chancellor, KEMU will also be acceptable.
  • Admission forms should be completed in all respect along with all required documents.

Application Process for Allied Vision Sciences:

  • Foreign students should apply through Economics Affairs Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of Pakistan under Foreign Students Rules & Regulations.
  • Foreign students will only be given acceptance letter and will be admitted only after clearance from Government of Pakistan as per laid down Protocol.
  • Application Forms can be collected from College of Ophthalmology & Allied Vision Sciences.
  • Form can also be downloaded from the website of King Edward Medical University (www.kemu.edu.pk) & COAVS (www.coavs.edu.pk)
  • All admissions are on open merit.
  • The application forms duly filled in along with all necessary documents (mentioned in the Application Form) should reach the office of the Course Coordinator at COAVS (Room U-6) before the closing of office hours on the last date for submission of application.
  • The first merit list of BSc. (Hons) Vision Sciences will be displayed on 24th December 2024 on the notice board of College of Ophthalmology & Allied Vision Sciences and website.
  • Fee will be charged as per instructions from the Health Department.

Post RN BSN Admission Procedure:

  • The Entry Examination for admission in Post RN BSN program will be a competitive examination.
  • The total marks of the Entry Examination will be 100 Marks consisting of Written 100 MCQs to be attempted in 180 minutes.
  • The student scoring 50% marks will be considered pass but admission will be based on the overall merit achieved by the candidate.
