PhD Management Science

For admission in the PhD program, minimum CGPA of 3.00 (Semester System) or 1st Division (Annul System) in M.S/MPhil/MBA (18 years of education) or any other Equivalent Degree in relevant field is required. The applicant must have carried out research work of minimum 06 Credit Hours in he previous degree in relevant filed. GAT (subject) or Institute based Admission Test in the area of Management Sciences is required. On successful completion of all the requirement mentioned above, the applicant shall be called for a Final Panel Interview in which his/her admission shall be confirmed. Minimum time period for the completion of PhD Program is 03 Years, Whereas, the upper limit is up to 08 Years. Student seeking credit transfer may also apply for admission.

Admission Policy:

• Applications are considered on the basis of merit/qualifications regardless of race, color, gender, religion, disabilities, age or national origin.
• The qualified candidates among the applicants are selected on merit against the available seats.
• Applications for admissions should be submitted to the Admissions and Registration department prior to the beginning of each semester. Regular attendance at all classes, lectures, studios, sessions and seminars is mandatory.
• Students who have successfully completed the required qualifications/examinations shall be eligible for admissions in next semester.
• Provisional Admissions may be given to students only if they have already appeared in the exam for the completion of the previous academic program required for eligibility at the time of admissions at KASBIT.
• However, the student must submit the pass Marksheet of the previous academic qualification before the commencement of his/her first semester.
• A candidate who shall meet the minimum bench-mark will be allowed to register in the 1st semester in (ADP) in Commerce, BBA, BSCS, BSAF, MBA and MS programs. Candidates who fail to pass the admission/aptitude test are not eligible for admission at KASBIT.
